Anna Williams
Anna M. Williams was named social worker of the year by the National Association of Social Workers-Maryland Chapter. She was honored at a luncheon during their conference last March. She spoke on her many blessings as well as touching others lives through the power of social work. Ms Williams is also one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women for 2006. She was honored with other recipients on May 8th at the Myerhoff Symphony Hall.
Recently she began, with her business partner, a consulting firm, Dynamic Families (www.thedynamicfamily.com). This organization is designed to assist busy parents in finding quality time and activities to participate in with their children. This is accomplished through mother daughter retreats, day trips to New York to see plays and other, mother daughter tea parties and one on one coaching sessions. Activities are designed to enhance parent child communication, positive interactions and family bonding. Although they will work with all parents and their children, they focus primarily on the mother daughter relationship. Dynamic Families has been featured on Channels 2 and 13 news and community affair shows.
Anna has been involved with the Women’s Wine & Dine® for almost two years now. She has attended and been a sponsor and says she enjoys the camaderie of other successful women and the “giving back” component of the events.
