December 2006's Wine Tip of the Month

Serving temperature savvy...

Champagne should be served the coldest -around 38 degrees is optimal. Whites are at their best between 48 and 50 degrees, lighter reds such as Nouveau Beaujolais are great around 60 and remaining reds should be served between 60 and 65 degrees maximum. Leftover wine? Store in the refridgerator, remembering to take the reds out 1/2 an hour prior to serving.
